Summer Lovin'

Jake, Luci and I had another fun-filled summer weekend!
Saturday we headed up the McKenzie to visit Nana and Papa at Holiday Farm RV Park.
Luci got lots of love from Nana & Papa
Jake and I got to relax and enjoy the warm weather and the outdoors.

Sunday was another wonderful day, it started by Luci and I sleeping in! Then we loaded up the car and headed to meet the Metzgers at Clay Creek to catch some crawdads.

Luci and Owen got to hang out down by the creek.
Owen was very curious about this new little baby. He was so concerned when she would cry, he wouldn't even take a nap.

Luci loved dunken her toes in the water with her dad!
Luci and I hung out in the shade and enjoyed every minute of our afternoon out of the house.
Next weekend we are going to the Metzger's cabin!
We are loving summer!

A wedding, cabin, and fish, oh my!

Well, this was a weekend of firsts for Luci! We kicked the weekend off at a beautiful wedding shared with many friends. There were sooo many babies at the wedding! It's fun to think of all these little ones growing up together!

We also got to spend time with the Davis family! Luci got to meet her friend Dakota!
It was great to see so many friends, but we had to head out early to get to the cabin!

Jake went fishing so Luci and I decided we would join him.
This was my view! She loved sleeping while we walked.
We all had a relaxing, stress-free, fun three days. It was much needed.
We're hoping she's going to love the outdoors as much as we do!

Luci is one lucky little girl. She has been welcomed into this world with sooo much love.

...Introducing Lucia Kathryn Tait

Born on July 6th, 2010 at 1:57 pm. She weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. We think she's pretty perfect!
